Daniel Abrahams is the CEO of BeechTree, an executive search and advisory firm focused on climate change and the natural environment. He founded BeechTree to help organizations respond to the climate crisis with the right talent and technical expertise. Previously, he led USAID’s work on climate change as a national security threat—both designing programmatic interventions and advising the White House on policy strategy. A former academic, he has held appointments at Colby College, Lehigh University, and the University of South Carolina, and has published in a wide range of academic journals including World Development, Climate and Development, and Environment and Security.
